First Major Release

This marks the first major release of the adaptfx package based, after having been further developed from the previous version that was used for "Adaptive fractionation at the MR-Linac" by Pérez Haas et al.

What's new

  • faster calculation
  • settings option for dose state, dose action and sparing factor resolution
  • methodological framework to reduce number of fractions based on organ at risk BED minimisation

Contains:

  • CLI for calculating retrospective or current fraction plan given a list of sparing factors
  • plotting feature to look at policy/value function and expected number of remaining fractions
  • linear BED action space

Does not support yet:

  • compatible with GUI from previous package
  • option to save plotted figures automatically
  • automated constant evaluation for number of fraction minimisation
