My name is Jérôme MARTIN. I worked 30 years in finance, first as a trader, then as a pricing and risk-assessment specialist, later as an organizational and compliance/regulatory consultant.
Three years ago, I discovered functional programming, JavaScript, TypeScript and Effect.
I trained hard on all these topics. I became a real functional programming and Effect advocate.
I decided to add a few stones of my own to the Effect library: they are all available in the effect-libs repository. Four sub-repos are published to NPM and are getting traction from the community: @paris-chap/effect-lib, @paris-chap/ansi-styles, @paris-chap/conversions and @paris-chap/pretty-print.
I actively use the latest IA tools to work ever faster and improve my coding quality.
I soon intend to start developping web apps with my brand new skills. I am open to joining a company that cares and wants to gain momentum on the promising techs I use.
