Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition as a Penetration Testing Tool

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is a pretty powerful tablet. With 8 Arm cores and 3 GB of ram, this little device packs a pretty decent punch. The aim for this repo / project is to be able to use this tablet for day-to-day tasks, such as note-taking, entertainment, sketching / drawing, etc., while being able to turn into a powerful penetration testing platform in a moment's notice.

Hardware

While the stock hardware is decent, this build will be configured to support a powered USB Hub connected to external Wireless, Bluetooth and SDR Adapters (such as Alfa, Ubertooth, and RTL-SDR) for performing wireless assessments. With that said, any additional third-party hardware that this build is configured to support will be listed in this wiki, and within the repo itself.

Third Party Apps / Utilities

With the awesome hardware on this device, and the very dense display, this build will also ship with Kodi installed and preconfigured with a pre-made build, such as Evolution.

I tend to be somewhat sparse when it comes to documenting things for myself, but due to what seems like a pretty large demand to support these tablets, I will attempt to document this as much as possible.

Project Support

This project is not a major priority for me right now, so I will not be able to dedicate a bunch of time to helping others with bugs, technical questions, etc. However, with that said, I will do my best to be available for such things. If you desire to have your SM-P600 setup as I have described, please feel free to contribute to this project.
