fwiw we realised that the github compare links at the bottom of the CHANGELOG needs to remain, as it's used as metadata for the plugin and referenced in each release's title. |

We have a desire to publish a public CHANGELOG generated from a private GitHub repo and therefore don't want the GitHub links to be added as they'll just 404.
