Request/Failure description

The pitch joint in the iCub neck continuously goes to HW failure (i2t limit exceeeded...). Manually it moves only in one direction (forward).

Detailed context

We tried many things:

  • putting it in IDLE and the RUN in the motor GUI, as soon as I move it or the other joint the pitch goes in HW fault
  • Moving it manually, it spins only in the forward direction
  • Removing the belt, the motor itself spins, but the neck joint is stuck

How does it affect you?

We cannot use the robot gaze and hence face tracking while it is quite important to have it next week do to 2 theses-releted data collections.
