About The Project

SanicBot is a bot designed to make it easy to reference documentation and Github pulls and issues.

Use !help for user commands.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

First install pip, which contains all of the necessary packages.

• pip

sudo apt install python3-pip

Installation

• Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/sanic-org/discord-bot

• Install Pip Packages

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

• Create a sanic.ini file in the project directory. Make sure Python's working directory is the project directory. Below is an example of its contents:

token=IOHhohohpgiJI.POUOUguGYIGUPGIGUIPgyio.iugYGGIUYUIGPOIHPH
