Psychological Science open-access subset corpus v1

270 articles from Psychological Science, filtered from a larger locally-held collection of 1,903 PDFs down to only those independently confirmed open access (CC-BY or CC-BY-NC) via CrossRef's license metadata. Most Psychological Science articles are NOT open access (SAGE's default text-and-data-mining license does not permit redistribution), so this is a minority subset, not a representative journal sample. Includes psychsci_oa.rds (metacheck paperlist) and psychsci_oa_pdf.zip (original PDFs).

PLOS ONE corpus v1

Stratified random sample of 1,000 open-access articles from PLOS ONE (2016-2025, 100/year, drawn from a pool of over 330,000 articles). Includes plosone.rds (metacheck paperlist) and the original PDFs split across plosone_pdf_part1.zip and plosone_pdf_part2.zip (CC-BY 4.0 or CC0, depending on the article).
