Adding new contributors from the past nine years, to acknowledge their work on the project.

I checked Authors of all commits, and merged them with current authors. Duplicate names were merged when I found the same person under different account/mail is behind - I might have been wrong here, so please let me know if I miss somebody.

For such multiple aliases, I often chosen the newest mail or most descriptive name.

I fixed some typos or enhanced name shortcuts even for current authors.

Same ordering (Firstname Lastname <mail> preceeds before alias <mail>) followed.

A few people from current AUTHORS were not found among Authors in git history, but I left them for the sake of historic reasons (I bet their contribution path has been buried before git times, or that I searched badly).

Despite my careful work, it is quite probable I missed somebody by a mistake - the work was tedious, antwork and error prone. If I forgot somebody, please let me know and I am happy to add them to the list.

Please place an 'X' inside each '[]' to confirm you adhere to our Contributor Guidelines

  • Is the commit message split over multiple lines and hard-wrapped at 72 characters?
  • Is the subject and message clear and concise?
  • Does the subject start with [plugin_name] if submitting a plugin patch or a [section_name] if part of the core sosreport code?
  • Does the commit contain a Signed-off-by: First Lastname email@example.com?
  • Are any related Issues or existing PRs properly referenced via a Closes (Issue) or Resolved (PR) line?
  • Are all passwords or private data gathered by this PR obfuscated?

Congratulations! One of the builds has completed. 🍾

You can install the built RPMs by following these steps:

  • sudo dnf install -y 'dnf*-command(copr)'
  • dnf copr enable packit/sosreport-sos-4211
  • And now you can install the packages.

Please note that the RPMs should be used only in a testing environment.

#!/bin/bash
git shortlog -ns @~

bmr@fedora-p1g2:~/src/git/sos$ git userstats | head
