We invest a lot of time developing, maintaining, and updating Ultra project. More sponsors allow us to dedicate more time to open source, which results in more awesome new features and project releases.

Working full-time on open source would be amazing, but I currently have to invest a lot of my time into other projects in order to pay the bills. Sponsoring me on GitHub allows me to focus more on open-source projects, while you profit from solid project stability, faster development and more frequent feature releases.

The sponsor gets to request features and influence their priority.

It's also possible to sponsor the writing of a technical paper on the software in question for presentation at a conference. The sponsor would be given credit in the presentation and in the paper, this helps give a positive image for the company and can also make people aware of the features of related products.

I can provide commercial support for all the free software I develop. This support includes bug fixes, operational support and training.
