Enabling Logging

If you're having issues with DuckStation, we may request a log file for you to help figure out what's going on.
- Open DuckStation.
- Open
Settings -> Advanced Settings. - Set the
Log Leveldrop-down toDebug. - Check the
Log To System ConsoleandLog To File. - Close and re-open DuckStation.
- Start your game and reproduce whichever issue you are having.
- Either screenshot the console window, or:
- Close DuckStation, and
- Send us a copy of
duckstation.login your user directory (https://github.com/stenzek/duckstation/blob/master/README.md#user-directories).
After you have sent us a copy of the log, be sure to disable logging to reduce disk wear and restore full performance.
- Open

Log Leveldrop-down toInformation. -
Uncheck the
Log To System ConsoleandLog To Fileoptions.
- Open DuckStation.
- Open
Settings, and swipe to theAdvancedtab. - Set the
Log Levelpreference toDebug. - Check
Log To File. - Close and re-open DuckStation.
- Start your game and reproduce whichever issue you are having.
- Close DuckStation.
- Send us a copy of
duckstation.login your user directory (<storage>/Android/data/com.github.stenzek.duckstation/files/duckstation.log).
After you have sent us a copy of the log, be sure to disable logging to reduce disk wear and restore full performance.
