Number of iterations for the 3D nonlinear problem is on point @Abdelrahman912 fyi. However, the performance needs some more work. I have not investigated where all the time is spent, but we see that the total time for the preconditioned solves are significantly larger than the times for the vanilla cg solve, despite having more than 30x the number of iterations in the example case. |
