Thanks for this commit, I will keep this on hold until unit tests are added to this project, working on that but I haven't finished yet. |

Currently, after creating the pre-commit hook for git, it may be created with no executable permission. Git will not run hooks that do not have executable permission. As such, we must set the executable bit after creating the hook.
