Link to legislation: [California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018](https://cppa.ca.gov/regulations/pdf/cppa_act.pdf).

Businesses have 45 days to comply upon receiving a verifiable CCPA request (or 90 if the consumer is notified of an extension, see section 1798.130).

If a business still has not completed a request after this time, you can [file a complaint](https://cppa.ca.gov/webapplications/complaint) with the California Privacy Protection Agency. Complaints are forwarded to the company, and can increase the civil penalties by up to $5,000 per complaint (see section 1798.155) if the agency decides to act on them.
