For sites with Chinese visitors, Gravatar is often slow or completely blocked. TTT CommentBox includes a built-in "Text Avatar" mode that generates colorful initial-based avatars for guest comments.
- Guests see the first character(s) of their name in a colored circle. "Alice" -> "A", "Zhang San" -> "Z", "Alice Wang" -> "AW"
- Registered users continue using their Gravatar or local avatar as normal
