Summary

Derive typed TanStack Query options and canonical cache keys from Effect RPC and HttpApi contracts, keeping transport, runners, and resource lifetime with the application.

Effect contract + ready client
shared option builders + query-view keys
    QueryClient / framework Query hooks
  • Add accumulated and live HTTP SSE queries, immutable HTTP metadata views, and finite stream snapshots. Buffered multipart mutations use explicit FormData.
  • Honor QueryClient hashing defaults, include stream history policy in cache identity, and preserve complete Effect Causes. Add typed policy, inference, and view-prefix helpers; share HTTP/RPC type requirements and stream execution.
  • Demonstrate request-owned Start execution, hydration, owner retirement, and concurrent optimistic writes. Drain accepted work before disposal and preserve authoritative cache updates during rollback.
  • Focus the README and docs on RPC and HTTP, verify snippets against public compiler fixtures, and maintain the shipped Intent skill. Reuse validated application/docs builds across all three browser jobs and release validation.

Evidence

  • Before: HTTP streaming endpoints were omitted and buffered queries had no dedicated status/header metadata view.
After: supported SSE declarations produce accumulated/live options; buffered endpoints provide immutable metadata with distinct view keys and runtime/type coverage.
  • Before: stream identity, custom hashing, cleanup, and overlapping rollback could disagree with native cache behavior.
After: regression coverage verifies cache ownership, complete Causes, awaited cleanup, owner retirement, and rollback against current authoritative data.
  • Performance: current source workload medians for constructing 250-operation utility trees are 1.16 ms RPC and 2.78 ms HTTP, across five samples. These measure in-memory construction, not network latency or rendering.
  • Validation: 506 runtime tests across 46 files pass. All six hosted CI jobs passed at 3e3fd37, including Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. Final README examples pass TypeScript 7.0.2/5.9.3 and docs checks; package/declaration builds, attw/publint, formatting, typed lint, and skill maintenance pass locally. CI for 678a169 is running.

Merge Danger

Door: one-way

Source changes can be reverted. Merging to main can publish 0.1.0 after validation, subject to npm environment settings and publishing permissions. Reverting source cannot replace a published npm version.

Blast Radius: library

Public types, option builders, concrete cache keys, and the Query Core peer floor change before initial publication. Example lifetimes, documentation, and release automation also change.
