Docker image for courses BIO609 and BIO610 at the University of Zurich

Install Docker

Install git

Please see the detailed instruction from https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Getting-Started-Installing-Git

Installation on LINUX and UNIX

You would have to run the following commands on a terminal

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/urppeia/docker_bio_609_610.git

or download (Code / Download ZIP on the right) and extract to a local folder on your computer.

Enter into the Docker container

cd docker_bio_609_610
./login_student.sh

If you were able to enter the container, you are prepared for the course.

Installation on Windows

1. After installation is completed, open Git Bash App
2. Run git clone https://github.com/urppeia/docker_bio_609_610.git
3. Enter the directory: cd docker_bio_609_610
4. Run: ./win_login_student.sh
