Focus Transfer

During discussions, it is important to know the element that is discussed. In big diagrams, participants may, however, struggle finding the element in the diagram timely. Therefore, we integrated a so called focus transfer. The focus transfer allows notifying other diagram readers about the currently focused element. This works as long as the same diagram is opened. A transfer between different editor types is possible.
- All participants opened the same diagram
- All participants opened the focus view
- In the Cooperate perspective, the view is already located in the left bottom area
- In other perspectives, you might have to open the view via
Window-Show View-Other-Cooperate-Focus View

- Set the cursor / selection to the element you want to discuss
- Send the focus
- Via the
send focusbutton in the focus transfer view - Via pressing the keys
