Download from Mods4Ever.com. It is safe to update in the middle of a playthrough.
Use vanilla/GOTY (optionally with Lay D Denton) to get all of the Randomizer's features, best QoL improvements, and the most polished experience. Our installer has an option to install Lay D Denton for you automatically. We also support Revision, GMDX, HX, and Vanilla? Madder.

Major Changes
- New password randomization styles! By default, passwords will now be randomized by picking a few words from word lists instead of purely random letters and numbers. In theory these passwords should be a bit easier to remember if not using autofill, as well as simply being more "fun".
- If memes are disabled (such as when playing Serious Rando), password randomization will default to "Pronouncable" passwords instead. These passwords alternate vowels and consonants (the same method used for random names) to form vaguely pronouncable passwords which should be easier to remember
- If you want to switch password styles mid-game, do so just before leaving for a new mission (so there is no possibility of backtracking) for the least possibility of causing issues.
-
-
-
-
- New "Password Assistance" setting, "Show Known Passwords". Known usernames and passwords will be shown on computers, and a known PIN will be shown on keypads, but they need to be manually entered.
- The "Account List" window for Password Assistance on computers has been revamped to look a bit more nice!
- In "Mark Known Passwords" and "Show Known Passwords" modes the "Login" button will not be shown below the account list.
- Passwords that are learned while using a computer will be updated immediately and no longer requires you to close and reopen the computer.
- New "Show Computer Accounts" setting. Lets you choose how computer accounts that you don't have the password for show in the account list.
- "Hide Unknown" will only show accounts that you have the password for in the account list.
- "Anonymous Accounts" will show that there are accounts (and how many), but won't show the name for ones that you don't have the password for.
- "Show All Accounts" will show the full account name for all accounts on a computer, regardless of if you know the password or not.
- You actually start the game with all of your skill points again, instead of 80% of the amount you had left over after the new game skills screen.
- Initial support for a red-green color blindness mode! Currently this mode only changes the colors used on the health display in the corner of the screen, but the intent is to change any potentially confusing colors to more identifiable ones. Please reach out if you have a form of color blindness and we can try to adjust colors to be more identifiable!

- Improvements to Fixed Camera mode:
- The camera location will now persist through saves and loads.
- The camera will now focus on the person speaking during conversations.
- The camera will now respect the reduced FOV from drinking alcohol and adjust the view accordingly to keep the target on screen.
- The camera will now roll back and forth while drunk.
- The camera will now shake when it normally would in first person (e.g. while the superfreighter is exploding in Mission 9).
- The camera can now flip upside down, sideways, or roll from Crowd Control effects. These effects are blocked while forced into fixed cameras from Crowd Control itself, but are functional if intentionally playing in Fixed Camera mode.
- The camera will now be blocked by unmovable decorations (like vans and helicopters) as though they were walls, causing the camera to quickly adjust to allow the player to see themself.
- The camera can be blocked by movable decorations (like crates), but the camera will only adjust if the player stops moving behind them. This helps avoid unnecessary camera changes when the player is navigating through a busy room.
- "Doom Mode" Crowd Control effect now works properly in combination with Fixed Cameras. The player is unable to aim up or down, but the fixed camera itself is still able to tilt.
- Infolinks will now play at normal volume instead of fading away as the player gets further from the camera.
- Aim laser no longer shows up during conversations or cutscenes in Revision.
- Fixed infinite conversation loop in Mission 5 MJ12 Lab when you buy everything from Sven the mechanic.
- Fixed a bug where characters would patrol to a point and then start wandering, instead of standing still. In particular, this fixes an issue if you aren't standing near the jail cell window in Mission 5 when Anna shows up (if she's still alive), as previously she would wander away.
- Added a button to open the door to the UNATCO HQ front door desk from the inside in Mission 1. All other versions of UNATCO HQ (Missions 3, 4, 5) already have a button to open the door from the inside.
- Aug/Med/Repair Bots and Merchants will no longer spawn in certain dangerous locations:
- Near the arcing electricity at the LaGuardia airfield (Mission 3).
- In the electrical room on the superfreighter (Mission 9).
- Near the broken electrical box in the Paris Catacombs (Mission 10).
- In the electrified room in the Vandenberg Command Center (Mission 12).
- Outside the door of Vandenberg Command Center in the inaccessible duplicate of the main hall (Mission 12).
- The teleporter to leave the Vandenberg Command Center is now slightly larger to hopefully make it less possible to sneak past.
- Jock now flies faster during the exit cutscenes from Dowd's cemetery in Mission 9 and from the gas station in Mission 12.
- Bingo goal for learning Maggie's birthday is now properly marked when reading the relevant datacube.
- Fixed an issue where going two layers deep into the menus (E.g. Settings > Controls) would set your default FOV to whatever the current FOV was at the time you entered the menu. This caused issues if you went into the menus while drunk or using a scope. This would sometimes cause your game to be slightly zoomed in, or your weapon to not appear until you switch to another one.
- The weapon removed by New Game Plus is now much less likely to change by dropping or picking up other weapons.
- Robots will no longer drop any weapons regardless of whether they are "standard" or not. Some robots, like the security bots in Dockyards (Mission 9), have non-standard robot weapons such as flamethrowers. Previously, when those robots were destroyed, they would drop any of those non-standard weapons.
- Spiderbots (or robots who have been given spiderbot weapons) will now be able to use their zap attack against enemies who are not robots. Previously, spiderbots would only use their zap against the player or robots (particularly noticeable if you scrambled a spiderbot - they would just stand and look at their enemy without attacking).
- Enemies will no longer clone off of disabled robots (Like the ones in the robotics bay in Mission 5, or the Level 2 MJ12 Lab in Mission 6)
- Dragging a stack of items off of the inventory screen will now drop the whole stack, rather than just a single item from the stack.
- Barrels that start the level already leaking will no longer lose 1 health every time the game or map is loaded.
- Gas clouds (such as poison gas from barrels, halon from fire extinguishers, and tear gas from gas grenades) no longer block the hig...

Major Changes
- In WaltonWare, Jock will now also appear at Battery Park in Mission 3 after dealing with Lebedev, in addition to the original location in the Airfield.
- The sewer exit leaving the inside of the Mission 9 dry dock now has a keypad instead of a button in modes outside of Entrance Randomizer. The keypad uses Jenny's number, so the code can be found in the dockyards.
- Important characters that get killed in the intro cinematic on New Game Plus will no longer stay dead into the new loop. This prevents potential softlocks from occuring if characters required for progression (like Manderley) aren't present.
- The location of Jock is now randomized when leaving the graveyard at the end of Mission 9.
Minor Changes
- Third-Person and Fixed Camera camera modes now show the targeting reticules at the end of the aiming laser to know how accurate shots will be.
- Bingo goals that require the use of drugs or alcohol will no longer be available when those items are banned (e.g. in the Straight Edge loadout).
- Tweaked weapon placements for different FoVs and ultra-widescreen.
- Alarm lights now count for the "Light Vandalism" bingo goal, if they are breakable.
- Fixed mirrored rotation of the Limited/Fixed Saves ATM that was added to the gas station, and moved it forwards slightly to get away from some bad collision detection.
- Fixed possible crashes with flag names generated for Merchant conversations that exceeded the maximum length.
- If you have already encountered the Merchant in a map in an in-progress game when you upgrade, he may be a bit confused about what he has available to sell to you.
- Block certain out-of-bounds locations from being selected for random placement of things (like medbots/repairbots, merchants, turrets, datacubes, etc...):
- Outside of the walls of the UNATCO compound in Missions 3, 4, and 5
- Beyond the level transitions between the Wan Chai Market and the Lucky Money
- Beyond the door to the Vandenberg Computer area from Cmd
- Removed collision from teleporters so they don't block pawns or items.
- The Bingo Viewer now has an option to always keep the window on top (under the Display menu).
- Looking at Weeping Anna will no longer interrupt her death animation.
- For GMDX we now set Hardcore mode when starting a game with combat difficulty 4 or higher (such as when selecting Impossible/Realistic difficulty).
- Fixed randomizing some of GMDX's invisible objects.
- Fixed a bug with conversations referencing the player's kill counts in Mission 1 and Mission 2.
- Added a timed race to Vandenberg Tunnels (in both the forward and backward directions): See how fast you can go!
- UNATCO Troopers that appear in Mission 3, after meeting Lebedev, will no longer hate seeing carcasses (which typically makes them hate the player).
- The bingo goal for returning to UNATCO HQ in the boat after Mission 2 no longer appears unless the bingo board spans more than 1 Mission.
- Possible fix for some timed races (e.g. Catacombs or Reverse Catacombs) where the Mastodon messages were reporting the player losing over 9000% health.
- Fixed installer failing with Documents path issues
- The key for the cabinet in the Mission 2 Free Clinic is now adjusted more reliably and should now work properly in Vanilla? Madder!.
- The description for the Energy Shield augmentation now mentions that it works against explosive damage as well. This is vanilla behavior, so just makes the description more accurate to its functionality.
- Fix the carcass in the collapsed Canal Road tunnel (under Canals) so that it doesn't lose the aug upgrade can when the biocell he is also holding gets removed by DXRReduceItems.
- Killing Anna Navarre without using her killswitch will now fail the bingo goal to kill her with her killswitch.
- Jack-o'-lanterns no longer support any significant weight, collapsing if heavy things are on top of them (similar to trash bags).
- Added a copy of the UNATCO Closet Key to UNATCO HQ in Mission 5.
- Skill points originally associated with finding Paul or your equipment in Mission 5 now get moved along with Paul and your equipment when Goals Rando is enabled.
- Bingo goal for entering the gas station ceiling no longer requires going to the center of the ceiling (It will trigger as soon as you enter, regardless of which entrance is used).
- Bingo goal trigger points for visiting the ends of the cranes on the superfreighter adjusted to be a bit more clear. Also adjusted the skill point and infolink triggers present on one of the cranes to match the location of the bingo goal trigger.
- Added a button to the top of the dumbwaiter shaft in Chateau DuClare, in case you end up on top of the dumbwaiter while it's moving to the top. This one's for you, Krickraken.
- Switching to "Vanilla" gameplay style in Revision is now blocked, because Randomizer is not compatible with this mode. "Normal" (Standard Revision gameplay), "Shifter", "Biomod", and "Human Revolution" gameplay styles are still available.
- It is once again possible to exit or skip the credits with the Escape button.
- Entrance Rando setting now carries through New Game Plus, so you will be able to keep playing in Entrance Rando forever. Enjoy WaltonWare Entrance Rando!
- Highlighting a credit chit will show many credits it holds.
- More consistent projectile damage calculations when using very low randomization percents (e.g. 0% Damage).
- Removed extra soda, liquor, and cigarettes added to Mission 3 Battery Park. The locations of these added items will still be available for items to randomize into.
- New Game Plus will no longer remove any weapons that your loadout made you start the game with (e.g. you will no longer be able to lose your sword in Ninja JC mode).
- Howard Strong will now always be in the silo map unless you have Entrance Rando enabled and have not yet completed the previous goals.
- Fixed Stalker setting not carrying over across New Game Plus.
- Improved performance by reducing amount of config writing.
- Open Aug Tree now puts auto augs at the end of the list
- WaltonWare starts after Vandenberg Command give the keypad code for the Vandenberg Command backup power
- Speedrun splits no longer complain about mismatch flags when the PB is blank
- Speedrun Training mode no longer uses realtime menus, and ensures the Speed Enhancement loadout.
- Enabled reflections and anisotropic filtering for D3D9 and OpenGL by default.
- Added bingo goals:
- Question Joe Greene in Mission 2
- Ask Joe Greene for help after the apartment is raided in Mission 4
- Withdraw money from ATMs
- Destroy the UNATCO flags in Mission 5 UNATCO HQ
- Sit on a bench in the Free Clinic atrium
- Moved 1 item location for items taken away in Mission 5, when placed in the surgery ward.
- Improvements to the "Play Music" menu in the legend cheat:
- It actually plays the song you asked for, instead of a randomized one.
- It now shows all the music choices available, including from Unreal and Unreal Tournament.
- Aim laser improvements (for camera modes other than first person):
- Aim laser no longer shows up during conversations or cutscenes.
- Aim laser now becomes a light blue color when holding a grenade and you are close enough to a surface to plant it.
- Aim laser ignores death markers and continues through them.
- When in third-person camera mode, using spy drone will no longer force the camera back into your head.
- Removed purple line from the back of the UNATCO helmet.
- Activating Spy Drone while moving no longer keeps some momentum.
- Stalkers no longer count as innocents for the purposes of bingo.
- Temporary fix for Bobby crashes.
- Improved fallback positioning of Fixed Camera locations when there isn't a good wall location nearby.

See the full README here. Also check out our Discord and Mods4Ever.com
NOTICES:
If you want to start with Speed Enhancement augmentation (improves running speed and jumping abilities) like previous versions, then select the loadout called "Speed Enhancement". Otherwise you will start with a new augmentation called "Running Enhancement" which only improves your running speed, with a chance to find "Speed Enhancement" in an aug can.
Also we want to do more speedrun races and content. If you can beat the game in less than 3 hours, or if you can do more than 4 loops of WaltonWare in 1 hour (use the new timer for this), then we need you! Come join our Discord or contact us anywhere else. Check out our new speedrun guide!
There is a savegame compatibility issue if you're in the middle of a mission and try to backtrack to a previous map, the safest time to update to v3.5+ is when Jock is ready to take you to the next area.
Bingo Hotfix
- Fixed issue with dolphin jumps breaking some other bingo goals
