IJP or Its just python is a python variant, which contains a different syntax, made by PyHubs GitHub. He wanted to make a language but he was too stupid, so he made this...
IJP has all the power of python and many extra benefits including
- STRICT VARIABLE TPYES (new in 2.1)
- FUNNER FUNCTIONS (
funinstead ofdef) - TKSUPER (initialize a Tkinter window using
tksuperand name it, set the size and color all in 1-2 lines)
Your mother can figure that out.
Well, I don't know why people like defining types, but after seeing typescript, I thought I would take some inspiration from it, and add typed variables to python!
You can technically use name = str("Emotional Damage"), but that syntax is ugly. Using IJP you can just
str text = "This is nice"
int num = 69
float decimal = 21.50
bool TrueType = TrueMore will be covered in the strict types chapter.
You can use fun instead of def, and OOP instead of class
This allows you to do alot of things, in 2 lines.
- Initialize
Tk() - Set a title (title must be a separate variable if you have spaces)
- Set the geometry (size)
- Set the color
ALL IN 2 LINES
this_title = "Super Cool IJP App"
tksuper root this_title "200x200" "grey"
# We can still use "root"
root.mainloop()In python this would be
root = Tk()
root.title("Bad Native Python App")
root.geometry("200x200")
root.config(bg='grey')More info on the page about tksuper
