Dan thinking of using an implicit session when using the world model and use that sort of verbiage in proposed changes to chap-inquiry/inquiry.tex. Aurelian has updated the text here to reflect some of the comments from our last meeting. Worth drawing out trying to do operations using no-longer-valid handles owing to a call to MPI_File_close, etc.
Discussed changes to chap-terms/terms-2.tex and Dan thinks the new text "Last, some errors may be detected after the procedure returns" that is suppose to replace "some errors may be detected after the associated operation has completed" has a different meanding. Discussion of active and enabled. Discuss enabled in the context of issend. Two types of completion concepts - disabled? and inactive.
We think with small changes suggested that today that this PR plus PR #629 are ready to present at an upcoming virtual forum.
Howard just pointed people to this issue and associated PRs. More for information.
Ignacio not ready yet to present so will leave for two weaks from now.
